No new public playtest date is announced.
The latest published beta window was September 3 at 19:00 UTC to September 6 at 08:00 UTC. It became an Open Beta on September 5. No later public test window appears in the official Steam updates as of September 10.
The September 2 backend-test notice is historical. The main game’s announced September 10 Early Access release is not another Playtest event.
Update rule
Look for a named event and a real window
- The announcement identifies WARDOGS and the test type.
- It gives dates or a start/end window.
- It explains the client or access path.
- It comes from BULKHEAD, Team17, or the official Steam product surfaces.
While waiting
Choose the test or main-game path
For a future test, follow the official Steam announcements and use only the access instructions for that event. The public store did not display Request Access at this check; the community’s future-playtest registration is a waiting path, not an invitation.
For the main game, check Steam App 1867240 and its Library entry. Steam still showed Pre-Purchase at 12:27 UTC on September 10; a preorder or preload does not establish that the game has unlocked.
