Current answer
PlayStation planned; PS5 date not announced.
BULKHEAD said the team plans to bring WARDOGS to PlayStation and Xbox, while explicitly saying it does not know when. As of August 27, 2026, there was no matching PlayStation Store product or confirmed PS5 window.
The answer supports a PlayStation plan in the context of a PS5 question; it does not prove a final PS5 SKU, region, certification status, or date.
Release-date answer
No PS5 release date or window has been announced.
As of August 27, 2026, September 10 was only the Steam / Windows PC Early Access date. A 2021 PS4 product named WarDogs: Red's Return is a different game and must not be used as this WARDOGS release date.
Still unknown
Store and feature details remain open
- Correct WARDOGS PlayStation Store SKU.
- Release region, preorder timing, and price.
- Cross-play, cross-save, and DualSense feature support.
- Whether the final product is identified specifically as PS5.
What to do
Use a correct-subject first-party announcement
A future update should match the BULKHEAD / Team17 game and explicitly identify PlayStation or PS5 timing.
